No blogging for a few days. I've packed up the guitar , mandolin, tent and great tonnage of other stuff and I'm heading West. It's folk festival time at Portpatrick and the weather is still good. See you all when I get back.

I got over for a couple of hours on Saturday,looked as though it was going to be a good weekend with some excellent musicians.Disappointed I couldn't stay longer.Hope you had a spare string !

Poppy, that lot would have taken a lot more careful packing if I had any hope of getting it onto a train. I was getting a lift to the campsite.
Not quite across the pond, so the authorities can stand down now, but I was withon falling in distance.
